POULTRY We raise all of our poultry as naturally and humanely as possible.  You will not come here and see birds crammed tight in cages stacked on top of each other.  You may however see some of our laying hens roosting in trees, or scratching through the grass.  Of course, any chicks are raised indoors under a heat lamp away from any draft until they develop feathers, then, they too will be enjoying the green grass and sunshine! Free Ranged Eggs We offer eggs from our free ranged hens for $3/dz.  We believe free-ranging our chickens produce an egg exceptional in quality, nutrition and taste. You will never find a yolk richer in color! Since we have a variety of breeds, the eggs are of three different colors, brown, white and a bluish green. Chicks We are hatching cross bred chicks in our small incubator and they will be available for $3 a peice please call for availability or to place an order. Roasting chickens (broilers) We will have broilers ready for pickup periodically throughout the year, call for availability or to place an order. They will be $2.00/lb.   Special orders of more than 10 birds will need to be accompanied by a $2/bird deposit. Turkeys We plan on raising a few turkeys for ourselves this year, if you are interested we can throw some in for you too, but since we aren't very experienced at turkey raising yet, the price would to be determined and the exact date they would be ready couldn't be promised either, but I could promise they would taste much better and be much healthier and more natural than almost any turkey out of a supermarket!                                                Home
